Badhaai Do Movie Story

It is generally said that there is a dearth of stories in Hindi cinema. Junglee Pictures, a film production company of the Times Group, has made commendable efforts from time to time to set an example in the way that its management not only supported off-leak films but also produced them in Hindi through leading distributors such as AA Films and Zee Studios.

He also tried his best to reach the audience of the cinema. But, cinema is changing in 2022. Hindi cinema will also have to sit in this train. Otherwise it will be left behind. The film 'Badhaai Do', like the previous film 'Badhaai Ho' in the same franchise, is a film on a taboo subject in the social and family fabric.

If seen, this formula is of Ayushmann Khurrana to create a story by putting a taboo subject in a family background. The problem is now coming in this formula that the taboo subjects are changing from film to film, but their family background has become almost the same.

Ayushmann's previous film 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' flopped due to this and now 'Badhaai Do' also faces a tough box office challenge.

Badhaai Do Movie Review:

After the third wave of Corona, Rajkumar Rao again has the same responsibility of dragging the audience to the theaters as he did after the first wave through his film 'Roohi'. Incidentally, Rajkummar Rao managed to do his part well in both the films. This time his partner is Bhumi Pednekar.

Like Ayushmann, Bhumi should also be given credit for doing films in which the heroine is tall, thin, beautiful and not fair. She is the new courage of Indian girls. Girls who don't want to be 'perfect' like the commercials that appear on mobile, TV and computer throughout the day. The twist in the story of the film 'Badhaai Do' also comes like this. Its characters are also not 'perfect'.

Hero is a policeman. Heroine is a teacher. The family members of both keep making noise about the marriage. But the line of both is 'small' according to the family members. There are many in this story of man falling in love with man and woman in love with woman. There are many adventures too. Simply, such stories rarely have logical endings.

Review and Acting

The film 'Badhaai Do' is the story of two people whose lives are rainbow, a lot of money is coming to bring stories of LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) community in cinema, where is it coming from, this research subject to. OTT people are paying so much money for such films in one lump that the film's not running at the box office doesn't even matter anymore, provided the hero heroine of the film is known.

The Indian Army may not have given permission to the proposed film on a homosexual officer of Onir's army, but the police of different states of the country have not issued any such decree yet. Imagine if the police decide that they will not be allowed to release the films involved in corruption and the scripts of films made on police characters will also have to be approved first, then what will happen? Then the film 'Badhaai Do' could hardly have been made and if the teachers unions also decided to do something similar, I do not know what would happen.

In this story of a gay cop and a gay PT teacher, the ruckus that ensues till the wedding to keep their families happy is not only fun, but the real fun of the film comes when the secrets of both of them are revealed. It is true that the film is well made. But, whether the film has become worth going to the theater or not, it depends on the courage to leave the house with life on the palm during the corona transition period.

There is nothing like the magnet needed to attract the audience to the cinema. The film tells the story of middle-class families from small towns in which the case of two homosexual marriages is fitted. What is new in a film based on a set formula is its cast and director. And, in the forefront of this has been North East artist Cham Darang. His big screen debut is welcome. She is just a model. The acting is also amazing.

Akshat Ghildiyal has put all the spices in the story of the film which he has tried in his previous film 'Badhaai Ho'. Seven years after his debut film 'Hunter', Harshvardhan Kulkarni has got a chance to bring another film to the audience, and this time he has not failed in his experiment.

Yes, as a director, if he wants to make a cinema, then its subjects will also have to be chosen in such a way that it can be grand, panoramic and huge. The film lacks visuals that draw the audience to the theatres, and this despite the fact that both Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar have done an amazing job in the film.
